A cold room is normally made to the customer's project, which is why you will not find ready-made products with prices here, but rather the solutions from which the room is built. The dimensions, height, panel thickness, floor, number and type of doors, interior finish and refrigeration unit are chosen according to what you store, how much of it and at what temperature. Kide rooms suit everything from a small restaurant cold room to an industrial frozen-goods warehouse – including unusually shaped spaces, around corners and pillars.

Frequently asked questions

How does a cold room project work?

Send us the room dimensions or a floor plan and describe what you want to store and at what temperature. We calculate the heat load, choose the panel thickness, doors and refrigeration unit, and prepare a drawing and a quote. After the order, we install the room and commission it.

What panel thickness do I need?

For a cold room (0…+8 °C), a 60–100 mm panel is usually enough; a freezer room (−18…−25 °C) needs a 100–150 mm panel and an insulated floor. We make the exact choice during the project.

Can the room be enlarged or relocated later?

Yes. A room built from modular panels can be dismantled, extended and reassembled in a new location.

Do you also make combined cold and freezer rooms?

Yes. A single room can be divided by a partition wall into a cold section and a freezer section, or several rooms can be connected to one Waterloop system.
