How to choose a mixer tap or tap?

• Installation – whether the mixer tap is deck-mounted (single or two-hole) or wall-mounted; for wall models, check the distance between the connections (e.g. 150 or 203 mm).
• Spout shape and length – the C, U, S or D spout and its length must suit the size of the sink.
• Operation – single lever, clinical lever, pedal, knee or sensor; touch-free operation is more hygienic.

What is the difference between a pre-rinse shower and an ordinary kitchen mixer tap?

A pre-rinse shower is a mixer tap with a spring hose and a powerful spray head, used to rinse food residue off dishes before they go into the dishwasher. In addition to the spray, it may have a separate spout for filling pots. An ordinary kitchen mixer tap is suitable at the sink for hand washing and general use.

What are pedal-, knee- and sensor-operated taps used for?

Touch-free taps improve hygiene – hands do not come into contact with the tap and the spread of bacteria is reduced. They are suitable for the food industry, production kitchens and healthcare facilities where hygiene requirements are high.
