A pot washer cleans pots, pans, baking trays, GN containers, mixer bowls, transport crates and other large kitchen utensils that do not fit in a standard dishwasher. A powerful wash pump, large loading opening and longer wash programmes remove even burnt-on soiling, saving chefs' and kitchen porters' time and effort.
A pot washer can also wash dishes, but it is designed for larger, dirtier items and longer cycles. In a smaller kitchen an XL universal machine can cover both needs; larger kitchens have a separate dishwasher and pot washer.
Measure your largest pots, pans and trays and choose a machine whose rack size and loading height are larger than these. Also consider how many items fit in the rack at once.
A standard pot washer cleans with powerful water jets and detergent. In a granule pot washer, plastic granules are added to the wash water to mechanically remove burnt-on and stuck-on soiling, so there is no need to pre-soak or scrub pots.
