The Kastel KS 150/60 is a freestanding nugget ice machine that produces up to 150 kg of nugget ice (crushed ice) per day and stores up to 60 kg in its built-in bin. Suitable for bars, restaurants, hotels, cafés, fast-food outlets, nightclubs, shops with fish counters and production facilities.

Kastel is an Italian ice machine manufacturer founded in 2000 and part of the Aristarco S.p.A. group since 2013. The factory produces up to 30 000 units a year, and all Kastel equipment is 100% made in Italy.

Key features

• nugget ice (crushed ice) – produced just below 0 °C and containing approx. 20% water; mouldable and soft, it does not damage products
• vertical cylindrical evaporator and Archimedes screw: the screw scrapes the ice off the evaporator wall and feeds it into the ice crusher, which removes excess water
