What is the difference between the Jøni kettle series?

Easy, Multi, Opti and Maxi are kettles without a mixer; MultiMix, OptiMix and MaxiMix have a mixer. Easy is the simplest (AutoTemp 02e), Multi and Opti have a digital or touchscreen control panel, Opti/OptiMix have a 600 mm tilting height, and Maxi/MaxiMix hold 400–500 litres. OptiMixBraise is a frying and cooking kettle (up to 200 °C). Stand models stand on four legs and the EasyMobile is on wheels.

What is the advantage of a steam-jacketed cooking kettle?

The food is heated by steam between the double walls (up to 120 °C), not directly by the heating element. The food heats evenly and does not burn onto the bottom, which makes the kettle well suited to porridges, sauces, purées and stews.

What size of kettle do I need?

Allow approx. 0.3–0.4 l of food per portion and a 10–20% margin. For example, an 80–100-litre kettle suits 200 portions and a 200–250-litre kettle suits 500 portions. We will help you choose based on your menu and workload.

What electrical connection does a Jøni kettle need?

All Jøni kettles require a 3-phase 400 V connection. The power depends on model and capacity: 40–80 l kettles 15–16 kW, 100–120 l 20–21 kW, 150–200 l 30–32 kW, 250–300 l 45–48 kW, and Maxi/MaxiMix 60–63 kW.

Jøni cooking kettles

Jøni cooking kettles come from Denmark. All Jøni kettles are steam-jacketed (indirectly heated) with electric tilting, and the inner surface of the kettle is made of AISI 316 acid-resistant steel.
